STAR CUP: MOUNTAIN BIKE RACE 2023 HIGHLIGHTS PART I
The first ever STAR CUP MOUNTAIN BIKE RACE 2023 is one of the highlights during the week-long celebration of Ragay Town Fiesta. Held on May 29, 2023 at seven o’clock in the morning (7am), this event is participated by more or less seventy (70) mountain bike enthusiasts coming from the different municipalities and cities of Camarines Sur.
Assembly area: Cecilio Aquino St., Poblacion Iraya, Ragay, Camarines Sur.
A 50-kilometer( more or less) race traversing and connecting the road networks of the following Barangays: Poblacion Area (Starting and Finishing point), Lower Sta. Cruz (Highway), Apale (FMR), Buenasuerte (FMR), Cabugao (FMR), Banga Caves (FMR), Sitio Nabuntogan all the way to Brgy.
Liboro via Andaya Highway, and via provincial road connecting Binahan Upper, Apad, Amomokpok, Panaytayan, and Poblacion area.
This event aims to foster sports and culture tourism development in Ragay by introducing cycling/biking to Ragayanos as a form of recreation and sports while promoting Ragay as a bicycle-friendly municipality, in the process.
