Provincial Launching of Measles-Rubella & Oral Polio Vaccine Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-OPV SIA)
Our Local Chief Executive, Mayor Thaddy A. Ramos, attended the Provincial Launching of Measles-Rubella & Oral Polio Vaccine Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-OPV SIA) under the Philippine Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP) of the Department of Health (DOH) in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and other partners/stakeholders on March 24, 2023 at Villa Del Rey Function Room, Provincial Capitol Complex, Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur.
Its main objective is to halt an impending measles outbreak and stop the spread of polio thru vaccination of every eligible child. As partner LGU, this is challenging but it is necessary to take action to protect our children and we are committed to continue supporting this program of the government in addressing these multiple health threats.
