COVID-19 REPORT AND SITUATION IN RAGAY CAMARINES SUR
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.
Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover without special treatment.
The virus that causes COVID-19 is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or exhales. These droplets are too heavy to hang in the air, and quickly fall on floors or surfaces.
You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within close proximity of someone who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then your eyes, nose or mouth.
The RHU Ragay observed all health protocols to prevent transmission of the disease, and continue monitors all PUMs quarantined in barangay facility and Ragay Quarantine Facility. We have personnel assigned to monitor them daily in coordination with BHERT Barangay level, at the same time we also two health personnel designated to handle all PUMs and PUIs who are positive to RT PCR.
Guidelines, Health Advisory, Policies, Updates on Covid-19 forwarded by the DOH are properly disseminated to all local task force thru RHU initiative.
Other RHU ‘s responsibilities in implementing guidelines is properly well coordinated to MESU in terms of referral system. Daily Reporting of PUM and Completed 14 days PUM will be also reported via online.
Contact traces are properly well trained to cater all close contacts and well informed for proper coordination and referral system.
